Making Merry at the Green Dragon

“In his writings, Tolkien depicted Hobbits as fond of an unadventurous bucolic life of farming, eating, and socializing, although capable of defending their homes courageously if the need arises. They would enjoy at least seven meals a day, when they can get them.”

This is the third of this series – the day to day life of hobbits in the Shire of Middle-Earth – at the inn of the Green Dragon at Bywater, home of a deep brown ale and where Rosie Cotton was barmaid…

Done with a mixture of Poser 4, and E-On Vue, some post work with Photoshop CS5 – a long way from the days of Bryce and Rhino3D or even the Commodore Amiga!
