The Heavens and the Waters
“A challenge was issued to me by my wife, an accomplished artist to produce more art using the computer that was not inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien. She suggested a Biblical theme. What followed was a series I called “Word Pictures” – the Word referring to both the Bible and to Christ Jesus Himself.”
This is the 9th image in my series of images with a Biblical theme. The 10th image in my current series of images with a Biblical theme. Psalm 148:4 says: “Praise Him, you highest heavens and you waters above the heavens!”
I took an image from the Hubble Space Telescope of the Orion Nebula and superimposed it on an image of ocean waves (distorted by a fish-eye lens) along with a fractal image of circular lines and “cosmic machinery” to communicate the hand of the Creator in the heavens. It links to Romans 1:20 one of the most challenging verses to atheists, agnostics, and idolators. (including the LGBT community)
