WIP – 2019 – 006

Technical aspects: The “droma” the semi-domesticated pack animal of the Sadusi. Created from a number of sources that I have collected over the years, the head is based on the Dunkleosteus one of the largest armored prehistoric fish. It was as big as an modern-day elephant and was a vicious hunter. It apparently had the most powerful bite of any fish. The body is a conglomeration of a number of prehistoric ankylosaurs (armored dinosaurs) found in geological formations dating to the very end of the Cretaceous Period – my personal favorite dinosaur being the Euoplocephalus.

I used 3D-Coat to build the creature in it entirety. It has yet to be posed and textured. This is a render straight out of 3D-Coat with a default “clay” shader.
